Required Materials

  Fabric A: small 26 x 40 cm | medium 32 x 50 cm

  For one color of the candy cane.

  I used a non-stretch cotton fabric with a dense weave and a soft, matte surface. The fabric is easy to work with and holds its shape well.

• 

  Fabric B: small 26 x 40 cm | medium 32 x 50 cm

  For the other color of the candy cane.

  Medium-weight, non-stretch cotton fabric with a lightly textured surface.

• 

  Interfacing or Non-woven Interlining (optional): small 52 x 40 cm | medium 64 x 50 cm

  If your fabric is too thin or the filling might show through, you can reinforce the pillow with non-woven interlining or fusible interfacing.

• 

  Stuffing: As needed To fill the pillow and help it maintain its shape. Alternatively, fabric scraps or other soft materials can be used.

• 

  Sewing Thread: Universal sewing thread, thickness 120 Suitable for the recommended needle size NM 70–80.
