Required Materials

Fabric:
50 cm Ball: Fabric width 140 cm: 1.5 m / Fabric width 90 cm: 2 m
25 cm Ball: 90 cm x 45 cm
15 cm Ball: 60 cm x 30 cm
For the outer fabric of the pillow.
Suitable materials include soft, skin-friendly fabrics such as cotton, plush, or decorative fabrics. Choose a fabric with a pleasant texture that matches your desired style.

Interfacing or Non-woven Interlining (optional):
If your fabric is too thin or if the stuffing might show through, you can reinforce the pillow with non-woven interlining or fusible interfacing.

Stuffing: As needed To fill the pillow and help it maintain its shape. Alternatively, fabric scraps or other soft materials can be used.

Sewing Thread: Universal sewing thread, thickness 120 Suitable for the recommended needle size NM 70–80.

Description
The idea for this ball pillow came to me when I absolutely wanted to sew a globe. I quickly realized that a ball can be so versatile – and that's how the pattern was born! A ball can be many things: from the first activity ball with ribbons for babies, through the first homemade football, to a cozy seat cushion in the reading corner. This versatility makes the project especially exciting for me.
The design of the ball is intentionally created to be as perfectly round as possible – which was particularly important to me during construction. The ball is easy to sew, especially if you already have some sewing experience. You just need to work precisely, as small inaccuracies are more noticeable in a ball. But don't worry, with a little patience, you'll surely succeed!
Whether as a cuddly play ball for children, as a stylish sofa pillow in a bouclé look, or as a moon with a few sewn-on craters – the possibilities are endless. The ball can be used not only for playing but also as a modern home accessory that adds a special touch to any room.

Very easy and straightforward pattern to follow. I’ve sewn two different sizes already and they came together nicely. I haven’t filled them yet as I don’t have any stuffing, but I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out so far.

I Love this pattern! It was easy to use, from cutting out to sewing! I made the large ball from pieces (without holes) of moth-eaten cashmere sweaters. I applied woven iron on interfacing so the pieces would keep their shape. Now I need to buy more stuffing! Thank you.
