Required Materials

For the pants.
Elastic jersey with at least 10% stretch across the width.

For the folded waistband. You can choose the width to your liking – I used a 2.5 cm wide elastic.

Sewing Thread: Universal Sewing Thread, Size 120
Suitable for the recommended needle size NM 70-80.
If you have elastic sewing thread, this is ideal for stretchy fabrics.

Description
Looking for comfy flared pants for girls that are quick to sew and still look really special? These flared pants with a folded waistband sit casually on the hips and get their signature look from the gently flared leg.
They are sewn from stretch jersey. Make sure your fabric has enough stretch so the pants feel comfortable. The waistband is folded over and finished with elastic. This keeps the fit flexible and easy for everyday wear. With only two pattern pieces, this is a great project when you want a simple sew with a great result.
